Hello friends! Over the past couple weeks I’ve obtained quite a few amazing new books. Between receiving titles for different promotions and visiting the bookstore more times than I can count, my bookshelves are filling quickly. Lately my boyfriend and I have been visiting a local bookstore (along with the occasional Barnes and Noble trip) for self care. Therefore, as you can imagine, I’ve been gaining more books than usual this month! So, today I’m sharing five of the titles I’ve gotten recently…maybe this way I’ll feel a little less guilty about how big my tbr pile is growing 🙂
1. Crave by Tracy Wolff
I’ve been debating about buying this book for months now, and I finally did it. If you check out the reviews for Crave you’ll find that most people either really love it, or really didn’t. The mixed reviews made it hard for me to make a decision about buying it. However, after getting a gift card to my favorite bookstore I finally decided “why not?” and grabbed a copy! I can’t wait to read this, and I’m hoping that I’ll love it. Then, even if I don’t, I can always pass it along to another book lover who can enjoy it!
2. You Must Not Miss by Katrina Leno
Lately on my Bookstagram feed I’ve been seeing post after post featuring books from Katrina Leno. On top of all the pictures, a book youtuber I love recently read and recommended her books. Therefore, I decided to join the hype train with a copy of You Must Not Miss. I love the new cover they’ve done for the paperback edition, and the story sounds amazing. I’m looking forward to this one and I’m excited to see what all the hype is about!
3. 11 Paper Hearts by Kelsey Hartwell
I was so thrilled the other day when Kelsey Hartwell was kind enough to DM me on Instagram and offer me a copy of her debut novel! 11 Paper Hearts (which is part of the Get Underlined paperback collection) has been on my radar for some time, and getting this copy and note from the author made my week. I’m hoping to get to this new release sometime in January/February since it is a fun wintery contemporary romance!
(If you’re seeing this, thank you so much, Kelsey!)
4. Fat Chance, Charlie Vega by Crystal Maldonado
Earlier this week I received a free copy of Fat Chance, Charlie Vega from the publisher for promotional purposes! I’ll be doing an Instagram tour with @storygramtours featuring this beautiful book (my post is set for February 1st). The cover is absolutely stunning (especially in person) and I’m really looking forward to reading this title! It looks like an incredible debut that I think I’m going to love. If you haven’t heard of it before, I’d highly suggest adding it to your tbr.
5. Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston
I don’t know why it took me so long to get a copy of this book, but finally, I have one! I’ve been excited for Bookish and the Beast since before it released in July 2020. However, due to a ton of reasons (such as quitting my job, saving money, timing, etc) it has taken me until now to buy a copy. I adored the first two books in this series and I am so beyond looking forward to finally reading this one! It honestly looks incredible, and I’m excited to have a new book with an orange cover on my shelves.
Have you read any of theses books? Are they on your TBR? Let’s chat!
