Hello! Thank you so much for your interest in working with From the Library of Alexis. If you’re a publisher or author who is interested in me reviewing your book on my blog, please spend a few minutes reading the following information before reaching out.
Aside from reviews, I am also open to considering blog tours, giveaways, interviews, and other possible creative projects.
Review Expectations
My most important standard with all my reviews is that they will be completely honest. In any reviews I post I will share my thoughts and feelings about the book while including specific explanations for my opinion. Please keep in my mind that if I share a negative review of the novel, it is without malicious intent and is not a reflection of the author or publisher.
Typically, unless otherwise indicated, my reviews are spoiler-free. I would be happy to do a review with or without spoilers, as to your preference.
My review posts follow a format that always include information such as the author, title, synopsis, publication date, cover, and publisher. I also share my reviews on Goodreads and promoted on my other social media pages.
Review Preferences
Format. I accept physical copies and e-books through NetGalley. I have a preference for physical copies, but I will consider and accept either format.
Genre. I have a strong preference for Young Adult books, which is the main age group that I review on my blog. However, I will also consider New Adult and Middle-Grade titles on a case-by-case basis.
Preferred Genres:
- Contemporary (strong preference)
- Fantasy (strong preference)
- Romance
- Retellings
- Dystopian
- Sci-fi

If I decide that I would like to review your book, I will try to do so in a reasonable timely manner. If I’m provided with an Advanced Reader Copy I will do my best to read and review the novel before its release date, or close to it. If you have a specific date in mind for a review to be published, please specify this in your email!
Being a book blogger is a hobby of mine and at times I won’t be able to accept every review. If I’m interested in review your book I will send a reply within 1-2 weeks of receiving it. However, if I don’t reply I’m unfortunately unable to review your novel at this time.
