Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is Favorite Couples in Books, which is my absolute dream list to make. I love romance in books and I already know narrowing my favorites down to ten is going to be difficult! Top Ten Tuesday is a “meme” hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, every week there’s a new bookish theme and this week I’m listing, as said before:
Favorite Couples In Books
- Megan and Owen from Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka
My first pick for my list came right to my mind, I loveeee Megan and Owen from Always Never Yours. This book lifted my contemporary standards and remains one of my favorite books of all time. I highly recommend this book to everyone! My full review can be found here
2. Scarlet and Wolf from Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
I never intended up pick up The Lunar Chronicles originally, and now I cannot imagine my reading life without this series! I love all of the different relationships in this series but I’m forcing myself to only choose one for this list so it doesn’t just become a post about my love for The Lunar Chronicles
3. Juliette and Warner from the Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi
When I first read Shatter Me I was really disappointed yet it’s become one of my favorite series because of Juliette and Warner! If you were let down by the first in this series I highly recommend you keep trying the books, they get progressively better and the romance is A D O R A B L E.
4. Jason and Sloane from The Disappearance of Sloane Sullivan by Gia Cribbs
Read this book. The Disappearance of Sloane Sullivan is such a underrated amazing debut thriller that has something for everybody. I cannot gush about the story enough. Theres plot twist after plot twist and a romance that’s beyond swoony. The characters work so well together and the slow burn is painfully good. My full review can be found here
5. June and Oliver from Shuffle, Repeat by Jen Klein
Another huge underrated read with an extremely adorable couple! The love to hate relationship between June and Oliver is written so perfectly in this book. The banter is hilarious and sweet moments are enough to make your heart stop. I love rereading this book whenever I can just to enjoy every amazing page of it. My full review can be found here
6. Hanna and Nik from Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I feel like a broken record every time I say this, but I’m not a huge fan of sci-fi typically…. however The Illuminae Files completely changed that for me and I think a large part of it was the characters. They’re funny and I can’t get enough of all the banter. I especially love Hanna and Nik from this series. Their chemistry was written masterfully and they made sure Gemina didn’t fall into middle book syndrome.
7. Wylan and Jesper from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
This is another amazing book where I did truly love every couple in the story, but I’m forcing myself to only include one on the list! Wylan and Jesper’s adorable and sweet romance was one of my favorite parts of this duology. It provided such an awkwardly charming subplot to a high stake fantasy story that needed that balancing out. Wylan and Jesper have my heart.
8. Caymen and Xander from The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
I’m very obviously a massive fan of Kasie West’s books, but the romance in this one stands out to me the most. I large part of what I love in a book couple is humor and the unique humor that’s brought through these pages made it extremely unique. The dry humor and chemistry of these two mixed perfectly into one of my all time favorite romance books.
9. Emily and Frank from Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
I’m happy to say that I’ve read and loved every single book Morgan Matson has written. When I first think of my favorite couple from her it’s easily Emily and Frank. Their adorable friends-to-lovers relationship is so sweet and pure. I love how these two develop around each other and grow as people. It’s such an adorable romance in a very underrated book.
10. Lara Jean and Peter from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
Ever since the Netflix adaptation of this book came out I’ve slowly become the “I liked it before it was cool” person… I read and loved this trilogy before the final book was published way back in 2016. Lara Jean and Peter have always been one of my favorite couples. I love how sweet they and how well they work together. Their entire romance is too adorable for my heart.

Yaaaaaas Lara Jean and Peter for LIFE! Haha
