I’ve always been a lover of lists, they’re just about the only thing holding my life together… so I’ve been wanting to participate in Top Ten Tuesday for some time! Top Ten Tuesday is a “meme” hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, every week there’s a new bookish theme and this week I’m listing:
The Top Ten Books I’ve Recently Added to My TBR Pile
- Wild Blue Wonder by Carlie Sorosiak
I’ve been seeing Wild Blue Wonder around on Bookstagram for months now and I just finally added it to my TBR pile! The story sounds really interesting, and the cover is so beautiful
2. Killing November by Adriana Mather
I just discovered this book recently, and it sounds so dark and interesting! It sounds promising with a lot of tension and mystery mixed in, which I’m really intrigued by.
3. The Antidote by Shelley Sackier
I am so excited for this book! The premise sounds amazing. I love the idea of magic being not allowed yet it being the only thing that can save the protagonist’s friend who happens to be the prince!
4. A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Bridig Kemmerer
I’ve been hearing so many good things about this book! It’s a beauty and the beast retelling that I’ve been waiting anxiously for, I’m a lover of retellings that are pulled off well
5. Maybe This Time by Kasie West
It hurts my soul a little bit that I’ll have to wait for summer to read and love my next book by Kasie West! I love all of her contemporary books, so I’m always excited when a new one is coming out
6. 99 Days of Laney Maccguire by Rachel Bateman
I read a different book by Rachel Bateman last year and loved it! I’ve been wanting to support her and read her other stories, so I recently added this book to my TBR pile
7. Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
Little fun fact about me, Margaret Rogerson is the only author I’ve ever had the honor of meeting at a signing before! I met her In November of 2017 while getting a copy of her debut, and I’m looking forward to seeing the story she develops in her next book! I love her writing style.
8. The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
I’ve been hearing good things about Kagawa’s writing for ages now, but after one of my close friends read and loved this series I knew I had to add it to my TBR pile!
9. Famous in a Small Town by Emma Mills
Confession time, I’ve never read any of Emma Mills’ books! I think I’m going to be starting here, the cover for this book is gorgeous and I think the synopsis sounds promising.
10. Match Me If You Can by Tiana Smith
It’s not a secret I love contemporary books, and this one sounds really appealing to me! The premise sounds really cute and I love the idea of having a best friend who is a matchmaker
