Despite going into the new year with a ton of really high reading expectations… I wasn’t close to succeeding. In all honesty, January just wasn’t my month. I started off the new year too sick to do anything and was stressed to the max for almost all thirty-one days. BUT optimistically a few books is better than none, and I also read a manuscript that I’m not counting here! I’m hoping to course correct in February and read so much it hurts (emotionally).
Books I Read In January:
- Sadie by Courtney Summers 3/5 stars
- A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab 4.5/5 stars
- On The Fence by Kasie West (reread) 4/5 stars

- Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo 4.5/5 stars

Although I didn’t get to read much this month, I’m glad I enjoyed everything I read! It’s rare for me to have a reading month where there isn’t at least one book that makes me want to scream a little bit.
What books did you read this month? Any recommendations? Let me know!
